Dour tidings is a solo music project that attempts to put out darkwave music. Its lyrics are largely based on my experience of learning to be comfortable with myself, something I am still working on. The instrumental is primarily focused on the beat, with harmony and melody being largely simplified and serving more as accent to the bass line and drums. I am primarily a bassist, although I also play the guitar and the synthesizer on my tracks. Peter hook of Joy Division and New Order is my bass hero and inspiration.
